About: More than 50 hot air balloons launch annually in two mass ascensions in Eagle Park.
How to Attend: This event is free! The two mass ascensions begin on Saturday and Sunday at 7:00am, weather permitting.
Tip for Attending: Do you avoid the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta because you spend more time stuck in traffic than seeing balloons launch? Come to Belen instead. There’s no traffic and you’ll get a personal, up-close look at the balloons. Plus, if you’re lucky, sometimes a pilot will invite you up for a free ride.
